What are the scheduling guidelines for my visit?
As we value the time of all of our patients, we request that 24 hour notice be given for any cancellation of appointments
We do not double book appointment slots to maximize our time together.
Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete any paperwork. If you arrive late, you may cut into your appointment time. As this slot has already been reserved, you will still be charged for your full visit.
We offer convenient online scheduling in addition to scheduling by phone. If you require an appointment time not listed online, please call the office so we may try to accommodate your request.
All medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology office visits must be paid for at the time of service.
Appointments will include simple procedures as long as time allows such as skin tag removal, removal of benign lesions not requiring stitches, freezing warts or precancerous lesions
All new cosmetic patients require a consultation (30 minute visit). The cost of the consultation will go towards any procedure scheduled and performed.
Some larger appointments (cosmetic/surgical procedures) may require a deposit to reserve your appointment, however, you will be notified if this is required at the time of booking.
Health savings (HSA) and flex spending accounts (FSA) can be used for non-cosmetic services.
Cosmetic treatment appointments will be set for at least 30-45 minutes and will require a deposit
Insurance can still be used for laboratory testing, biopsies and prescription medications ordered by Dr. Cannon.
Upon request, we are happy to provide you with a courtesy bill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Reimbursement is at the sole discretion of your insurance provider. All questions regarding your insurance coverage and reimbursement should be directed to your insurance company
NOTE: Due to government regulations, patients with Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Supplements, Tricare or other government insurance programs can be seen for medical services but cannot be reimbursed by their insurance for services rendered at Cannon Dermatology.
